Educational Flow
The room was mostly full as I began my introductions. Now the participants for the college summit were half my age and well launched in their teaching roles. Mostly, they were from Cherry Creek school district, a Colorado place seldom associated with diversity or financial hardship. Yet, they had trekked the sixty or so miles for a conference focused on minority youth. Hats off to them. Saturday efforts of this nature helps to grow the mind. More knowledge, more understanding, greater future lives for the children they face on that daily relationship.
